Getting your Google account

google accountIt has been a busy and hectic week and the storm and power drains from my place did not help well to finish what I am writing. It looks that this blog site was getting attention as more and more spam starts to come.

To continue on how to earn money on your blog, we will first pick one of the best ad systems that do not interfere with your site with any kind of pop-up or pop-under.

Pop-up is a form of online advertising on the World Wide Web intended to attract web traffic or capture email addresses. Pop-ups are generally new web browser windows to display advertisements. The pop-up window containing an advertisement is usually generated by JavaScript, but can be generated by other means as well.

Pop-under on the other hand is an advertisement which opens a new browser window hidden under the active window.  Pop-unders do not interrupt the user immediately and are not seen until the covering window is closed, making it more difficult to determine which web site opened them.

These two forms of advertisement common on most ad networks can ruin your visitors stay and luckily Google Adsense do not use this methods.

There are a lot of applications that are being submitted to Google Adsense network and some application takes months while some takes a few days to get approved. I will detail on how to make your application get approved faster.

  1. Make sure that your website exists for at least 3 months.
  2. There must be at least 5 -10 post within this period or 7 articles, this signals the reviewer that your site was really serious on making it existence be visible for a longer time.
  3. Secure yourself for a Google account, there are lots of ways to secure a Google account and the best one for me was to get Gmail email (it is googlemail on other countries).

You must be wondering why I bother you to get the top 3 items first. To cut the long story short, we are slowly integrating the site to Google before we apply for Adsense. I got my Adsense approve for 3 days on a busy day and this may be a struck of luck or plainly planning ahead.
